Mireya Velasquez (she/her)  is a New York based singer, actor and costume designer from Houston, Texas, originally.

She made her way to New York as a nominee for The 2019 Jimmy Awards and made her Broadway debut performing at The Minskoff Theatre. Where she has since resided following her graduation from NYU Tisch School of the Arts studying both musical theater and costume design from The New Studio on Broadway and Production & Design Studio.

Some of her most recent works include playing Sally Bowles in Cabaret at The West End Theatre, costume designing for CO_LAB’s There Used To Be A Forest Here, and working at the Jim Henson Company building puppets for Fraggle Rock LIVE!

Mireya’s skills stretch beyond departments and make her a more thoughtful and passionate artist in every room. From film sets, to studios, to costume shops, to production offices and to the stage. She is prepared and thrilled for the future that lies ahead.
